I've decided on another art thing: Greek Deities! I won't be going into the smaller gods (such as the one of family disputes) and such though.

  • Aphrodite - Goddess of love, lust, beauty

  • Apollo - God of music, prophecies, poetry, and archery. Also said to be the god of light and truth. Is associated with the sun

  • Ares - God of war, murder and bloodshed.

  • Artemis - Goddess of the hunt and wild things, and the moon. Protector of the dewy young.

  • Athena - Goddess of wisdom, warfare, handicrafts and reason.

  • Demeter - Goddess of fertility, grain and harvest.

  • Dionysus - God of wine, parties/festivals, madness and merriment.

  • Hades - God of the underworld.

  • Hephaestus - God of fire and the forge (god of fire and smiths) with very weak legs.

  • Hera - Goddess of marriage, women, and childbirth.

  • Hermes - God of flight, thieves, commerce, and travelers. Messenger of the gods. He showed the way for the dead souls to Hades's realm.

  • Hestia - Goddess of the hearth and home, the focal point of every household.

  • Poseidon - God of the sea and earthquakes.

  • Zeus - The king of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky and thunder.

  • Chaos - Non-gendered deity of the nothingness from which all else sprang.

  • Cronus - Titan of eternal time and father of the gods.

  • Erebus - God of darkness and shadow.

  • Gaea - Goddess of the Earth (Mother Earth), mother of the titans.

  • Hemera - Goddess of daylight and the sun.

  • Zephyr - God of the west wind.

  • Nyx - Goddess of darkness/night.

  • Uranus - God of the heavens (Father Sky) and father of the Titans

  • Atlas - the Titan who supported the heavens.

  • Rhea - the mother of the gods.

  • Prometheus - Titan who stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mortals for their use.

  • Eos - the goddess of dawn

  • Eris - the Greek goddess of strife

  • Eros - the primordial god of lust, love, and intercourse (also known as cupid)

  • Morpheus - the god of dreams.

  • Persephone - the embodiment of the Earth's fertility (goddess of spring?) and Queen of the Underworld

  • Harmonia - the goddess of harmony and concord.
